Silver contracts for December delivery on the MCX fell 0.72% to ₹1,95,301/kg in a turnover of 1,089 lots (down ₹1,416)

Silver prices on Wednesday fell by ₹1,416 to ₹1,95,301 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery declined by ₹1,416, or 0.72 per cent, to ₹1,95,301 per kg in a business turnover of 1,089 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading 1.01 per cent down at USD 53.87 per ounce in New York.
